Finish The Fight

October 30, 2007 by sethrubenstein

Halo Madness, thats what best describes this past week. From the 40 hour day I pulled on launch night till Wed 1am when I finally went to sleep, to the countless hours I, my room mate, and our friends have spent online this past week. Without a doubt Xbox Live multiplayer in Halo 3 has gone above and beyond, with new weapons, maps, features, stat tracking, and of course the Forge. It is the creme de la creme when it comes to console online experiences and it will not soon be beat. But you already know that, as a matter of fact almost all Halo 3 players know that. What you may not know about is the campaign, as many online players haven’t even touched it.

I however played 3 player co-op campaign online with some friends from Tuesday 12:30am till 7:30am that same day (and I then went to work from 9-11:30, what a long day). First off, the co-op was an awesome experience and it was great to share some of the very “halo-esque” moments with friends online. It was fantastic, and now going through playing Heroic it gets even better (and harder). But you didn’t have any doubt about that. I do have a beef with Halo3, a very large beef, be warned spoilers ahead. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t get a 10 out of 10 in my book. Look me up on Live, my gamertag is DarkNinja1206.

Superman Returns to Theaters

July 6, 2006 by sethrubenstein

I went to see Super Man the night it opened Tuesday night this past week, and what a great movie! And in my books its this summers blockbuster movie, great casting on the part of Super Man and especially Lex Luther. All in all I was very impressed by the story (some twists in there I wont give it away you’ll have to go see it), awesome special effects, and just a great nostalgic feeling when you’re sitting there and the music starts to come up. Go See It!!! Better than X3!

Everlasting – Self Charging Batteries?

May 20, 2006 by sethrubenstein

Just a thought but why the hell have we not developed self charging batteries that use the energy in them to recharge themselves or at least a battery that lasts like 200+ hours. I mean come on the military has to have something like this right?

Washington Post Blog Friendly

March 17, 2006 by sethrubenstein

The Washington Post gets my vote for the most tech friendly news website out there. Its particularly friendly to bloggers. Sporting support for Technorati, Del.Icio.Us and trackbacking bloggers can easily link to articles of interest and then give their opinion. Or they can save articles on del.icio or even see what others have to say through Tecnorati. Good Job Washingtonpost.com
